The idea for Rudin was inspired by a sensitive, enchanted time in my youth, when I visited the ruins of Pompeii on an archaeology trip. Short though the trip was, it sparked my love for Italy, in particular the culture of artisanal craftsmanship that tirelessly searches for what filmmaker Paolo Sorrentino termed The Great Beauty.

Rudin is a fine jewelry house which creates limited edition pieces inspired by art, mythology and cinema.. Our collections are released in limited edition, one-of-a-kind pieces that blend cultural storytelling with slow craftsmanship. Every piece of fine jewellery is handmade in the brand's workshop in Valenza, Italy, a historic town where goldsmithing dates back to 1817.

I am fascinated by the idea of re-envisioning classic forms with intricate twists that beckon for a closer look. I love to solve ways with the craftspeople I work with on how novel designs can go from sketch to realisation – whether that be mixing white and yellow gold in our Cupid & Psyche necklace, switching out diamonds in our Galatea earrings, or finding interesting pavé settings in our Gigante hoops.
